The Bell

Situated in West End Road, Ruislip Gardens. Almost certainly built in the 1930's The Bell was, up until a few years ago, the "local" for the Ruislip Gardens estate.

Now (from 2015) offer as well as a bar hotel facilities upstairs with about five letting rooms. Was due to be demolished when HS2 came marching through but as this will now be tunnelled under Ruislip has had a reprieve.

Where it is, by road

West End Road. Find Ruislip Gardens along this road and it is next to the railway bridge. There is a small car park by it otherwise street parking is usually available.

Info

Telephone Number - 0800 772 3542 or 07423 610322 or e-mail enquiry@bellinn.net for rooms etc.

Pub Web Site

Real ale

Thought not to offer any.

Access via public transport

Good. Ruislip Gardens tube is 100 yards away and the E7 runs past the door.

Pub Crawl Potential

Not good. You could get the tube one stop to South Ruislip and go to the The Middlesex Arms or walk across the park opposite the pub about 3/4 mile to the Black Bull.

Anything special?

Not really. When the model Jordan lived in Ruislip she was spotted in there. Has a somewhat chequered history......
